If I were to rank my favorite junk foods, chips and dip would be near the top of the list – mostly for the dip. I love a good dip, and typically make one every time I’m expecting company. I especially like dips that use things I typically have on hand – that makes it easy to whip up for a last minute snack. I have seen a recipe similar to this online before – and some people call it Neiman Marcus Dip (I don’t know why)- but my version I call the Ultimate Party Dip.
This is SOOOOO easy, y’all! And perfect to whip up when people call to say they are on their way, as most of the ingredients are staples or pantry items.
Start with shredded sharp cheddar.
Add your mayo.
Add green onions and toasted slivered almonds.
Add 2 oz of crumbled bacon. I use the prepackaged bagged real bacon stuff you find with the salad toppings. Bacon you cooked yourself only makes it better so by all means substitute it if you feel like cooking it or have it on hand.
Mix it all together.
Slap this deliciousness on a cracker and enjoy it! It reminds me of broccoli salad – as weird as that sounds, but it has a similar flavor and is super tasty.
