One of the things I love most about blogging about food are the other bloggers that I have had a chance to connect with along the way. Following them on Pinterest, Facebook and Instagram have turned me on to even MORE bloggers… and the cycle continues. With all that food blogging going on, there are some really delicious recipes out there.

A lot of people ask me what some of the things are that I like to cook that I don’t write about for the blog, and to be honest – either it’s things that I don’t think anyone else wants to eat, or recipes I found via the blogs that I really enjoy reading.

That being said, I decided that I would try to share some of these great recipes with you (I also like to share via Facebook and Pinterest so follow me there), so here are a few options to get you started.

Food Finds

First up, we have a super tasty Salt & Vinegar Wing recipe from the gals at Lou Lou Girls. We love wings around here, and any recipe that includes Old Bay is a winner in my book (I just use the canned Old Bay, I would never make my own – I can’t top perfection).

Hushpuppies are one of my all time favorite items – and these babies have cheese! Linda at With A Blast hit the ball out of the park with these Cheesy Beer Hush Puppies.

I love carnitas- and it is one of my go to selections when we go out for Mexican. When I saw this Carnitas with Honey Lime Dressing at Miz Helen’s Country Cottage, I knew I would have to try it out.

My love of sweet potatoes is well documented, so anytime I see a fresh idea involving them, I have to add it to the list of things to try. These Roasted Sweet Potato & Broccoli Winter Bowls from She Likes Food are perfect for me when the husband is out of town working.

Last but not least are these Slow Cooker Chicken Nachos from The Seasoned Mom. I found Blair’s blog when I was submitting my recipes to various link ups around the web. I would scroll through all the pictures and click on those that seemed like something I might want to cook for my family, and half the time they were always from The Seasoned Mom! I love this for multiple reasons, but I love having fresh crock pot recipes to pull from.

Be sure to check out these blogs for more amazing recipes, and come back on Friday for my Steak Lettuce Wraps!
